New Grant Cycle Schedule for 2027

Beginning in 2027, the Republic County Community Foundation (RCCF) will transition to a monthly grant cycle, offering organizations more frequent opportunities to apply for funding throughout the year. Applications will open December 15, 2026, with applications due by the 15th of each month. Grant cycles will take place monthly, with the exception of June and July.

"I'm excited about this next step in RCCF's grantmaking process and the opportunities it will create for organizations throughout Republic County," said Molly Williams, RCCF Director. "We want to make it easier for organizations to connect with local resources when they need them. By offering more frequent grant cycles, we hope to provide greater flexibility, encourage new ideas, and continue investing in the people and projects that make our communities stronger. There is so much good happening across Republic County, and we're excited to be part of what comes next."

Grant applications will be reviewed following the monthly RCCF Board of Directors meeting, held on the first Wednesday of each month. Applicants will be notified of funding decisions following the board meeting, and grant award checks will be processed approximately two weeks after notification.

While the overall amount of grant funding available throughout the year will remain the same, this new schedule is designed to make the grant process more accessible and convenient for local organizations. By providing more frequent application opportunities, RCCF hopes to give organizations greater flexibility to seek funding when needs arise, projects are ready to move forward, or new opportunities emerge.

RCCF remains committed to supporting the organizations, projects, and people who make Republic County a great place to live, work, and grow. The updated grant schedule is another step toward making local resources more accessible and helping good things happen throughout our county.
