Republic County Community Foundation Launches December Match Month with 3 to 1 Match Opportunity

This December, donations to the Republic County Community Foundation’s Match Month campaign have the potential to triple in impact thanks to the generous support of the Dane G. Hansen and Patterson Family Foundations. During December, donations received have the opportunity to be matched 3-to-1 benefiting RCCF’s Community Action Fund. This provides a unique opportunity for donors to maximize their contributions and contribute to RCCF’s local grant-making ability.

Whether it’s $5 or $500, every donation has the potential to make a big difference during Match Month. A $100 donation becomes $400, $1,000 becomes $4,000, and $5,000 becomes $20,000! The 3-to-1 match is an incredible opportunity for both long-time supporters and new donors to see their contributions go further.

“We want to emphasize that you don’t have to give a lot to have a significant impact,” said RCCF Director Molly Williams. “Every dollar counts, and this year we’re especially encouraging new donors to get involved. Your gift, no matter the size, can grow our permanent endowed Community Action Fund. This fund directly helps our county wide nonprofits and supports projects that enhance the quality of life in Republic County.”

It’s important to explain that only a portion of the investment income is granted annually to charitable organizations to help them pay for new and vital community projects and programs, ensuring a lasting impact for generations. The more the funds grow, the more we can grant!

To kick off the campaign, RCCF will host a Match Month Kickoff Event on Tuesday, December 3rd at the new Republic County Community Foundation Office in the Kallman Office Suites 9am – 6pm. Community members are invited to stop by, learn more about the match opportunity, bring a friend and enjoy our festive Hot Cocoa Bar. We will have a special presentation from Grant Recipients, Fund Holders and Donors at 10am and 2pm. Come hear impactful testimonials from individuals from around the county and how the RCCF has granted to crucial projects and programs.

In addition, RCCF will host several community events throughout December, offering further opportunities to meet foundation representatives and learn how to get involved:

● Wednesday, December 4th RIP City Inn, Republic, 5 – 7pm: First 50 Burger Meals are on us!

● Thursday, December 5th Irrigation Ales in Courtland, 7pm Presentation: 25% of sales that day go to RCCF for Match Month
