Republic County Community Foundation Awards Over $44,000 in Fall Grants
During its Spring grant cycle, the Republic County Community Foundation awarded more than $44,000 to support 11 projects across Republic County.
The following organizations received funding:
- Belleville Main Street – $14,000 Levitt Music Series
- Belleville Public Library – $6,000 Boiler Upgrade Initiative
- Blair Center for the Arts Foundation – $2,700 Free Admission Wichita Children’s Theater
- City of Cuba – $2,836.36 Main Street Trash Receptacles
- Distinguished Young Woman Of Kansas – $5,000 Event Equipment
- Republic County Health Department– $1,000 Digital Otoscope with Camera
- USD 109 – $800 Buffalo Spirit Leaders
- USD 109 – $891 Republic County Junior Class Etiquette Dinner
- USD 109 – $2,545 Junior ACT Class
- USD 109– $3,134 Elementary STEM/Makerspace Classroom
- USD 426 – $5,300 Pike Valley Ag Ed Greenhouse Upgrades
This round of grants was made possible by five funds held at RCCF: the community foundation’s Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, the Republic County Community Action Fund, which support projects and programs that improve the counties quality of life, the Kansas Health Foundation Fund for Republic County which support the public health of Republic County, the Republic County Health Fund and the North Central Kansas Healthcare Foundation Fund which both serve as a means to support public health initiatives.
