Republic County Community Foundation’s 2024 Match Month Campaign Achieves Record-Breaking Success
BELLEVILLE, Kan.—The Republic County Community Foundation (RCCF) is thrilled to announce the outstanding results of its 2024 Match Month campaign. During December, RCCF raised $169,426.32 with incredible donor support from across the country, securing the maximum matching funds available—$100,000 from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation and $70,000 from the Patterson Family Foundation, resulting in an overall impact of $339,426.32 for RCCF. A total of 135 donors contributed, making this the foundation’s most successful campaign to date.
“This year’s Match Month exceeded all of our expectations,” said Molly Williams, RCCF Director. “The extraordinary generosity of our donors—from our local community to supporters across the country—proves just how much people believe in the power of endowment and the potential of Republic County.”
With the addition of matching dollars, RCCF is significantly increasing its grant-making fund, which provides critical support to local nonprofits and community projects. Twice a year, RCCF awards grants from the investment income of this fund to address pressing needs, foster innovation, and strengthen Republic County’s future.
“Reaching this milestone isn’t just about breaking records; it’s about building a stronger foundation for our communities,” Williams continued. “Every donation, no matter its size, plays a role in shaping a brighter, more vibrant Republic County.”
This year, RCCF adopted a unique approach to connect with donors by meeting them where they are. Through community events held at local cafes community coffees. Williams and RCCF board members engaged directly with residents, raising awareness about the foundation’s mission and encouraging participation in the campaign. “The success of this campaign shows how impactful those personal connections can be,” says Williams.
RCCF extends its deepest gratitude to the Dane G. Hansen Foundation and the Patterson Family Foundation for their continued confidence in the foundation’s work and their unwavering investment in rural Kansas.
